Releasing Emotional Patterns

When I first laid eyes upon this stunning gemstone, I knew I had to learn more about it.  

I found out that it's Dioptase and it has substantial meaning.  From Emily Gems:

Now that sounds like something I could use.  As a creature of habit I have the tendency to echo past thoughts and acts when I know better. So with a hopeful heart and a longing to release emotional patterns I bought myself a little nugget and turned it into a necklace.  

I'm wearing it now with all intention on my higher purpose & breaking old patterns.  Reminds me of...

Desire for the Desert

Have you read the latest issue of RUE yet?  I just did and it's phenomenal!

I was most struck by the fashion spread titled "A Handful of Dust". Not necessarily for the fashion per say, but for the breathtaking desert backdrop.  I've never been.  For some unknown {to me yet} reason the desert has been calling to me.  Quite surprisingly, too.  I'm more of a lush, forests or tropical type of gal.  Perhaps I've yet to discover my desire for the desert.  My husband loves it.  Maybe one day I will, too.  I long for "A Handful of Dust" and letting the grains slowly sift through my fingers as the steady wind takes them away.  Yes, I must go.

Bring Spring On

I'm loving this girl's Spring style.

This is the day we've all been anticipating... the first day of Spring is finally here!!!  Promises of warmer weather ahead along with infinite, brilliant blooms.  Spring represents renewal and rebirth.  It's time to shed the doldrums of Winter and welcome Spring with open arms.  YAY, I say celebrate!

Oh, how creative people inspire me.  So of course I was pleased to find Nadia's Ready Go shop
featured on Etsy today.  But it was her other shop, Oh Hello There, that "had me at hello".
I already have a fondness for embroidery wall pieces and now I can add these to the wish list.

Life As We Know It

After the longest parade ever, running errands, and a nice meal out, 

we decided to have a nice, quite family movie night.  So we watched... 

All three of us really enjoyed it.  It was just put together so well.
I highly recommend it.  Plus the music was phenomenal.
